I started decorating for Christmas early. I have always loved the smell of cinnamon, the blinking LED lights, and the glittery ornaments that happily hang on my tree. If it were up to me, I’d have Christmas year around.
This year it’s been a bit of a challenge when it comes to Christmas decor, especially since Korea isn’t that big into Christmas. I’ve taken that challenge, and am still mastering my victory. As you will see in the next couple weeks I have been trying my hand at making most of my decorations, and some have turned out great…while others have been a flop. I currently have cinnamon salt dough ornaments in the oven…crossing my fingers on that one.
Since it is our first Christmas in a new land I was really wanting to do a great holiday photo shoot with Derik and I. I turned my living room into a makeshift studio, complete with customized lighting and a new camera tripod. I should have taken a picture of the set up, but I didn’t think of it at the time. The following pictures are the result!
As you see, I’ve also ‘Christmas-ified’ my blog!
Have I told you that I love Christmas?!
Jazz needed to take part in the festivities as well. He did so great in his photo shoot, and even listened to me when I told him not to chew on the lights.
